🚀 Trend No. 3: Telcos vs TowerCos
Telcos are increasingly selling off passive infrastructure (e.g., cell tower infra) to TowerCos, driven by:

👉 Sustainability
👉 Attracting low-risk investors
👉 Reducing debt & funding CAPEX

TowerCos are expanding beyond passive infrastructure, stepping into active network assets. Meanwhile, telcos are pressuring TowerCos to lower prices for their services.

👏 Highlights were visits from leading tower companies, large European, Asia and North American MNOs and VCs.

👏 Our Chris Rüttimann presented at GMSA’s Tower & Fibre Summit and at the GSMA Technology Group how Swisscom is working on Sustainability and Operational Efficiency on passive cell towers infrastructure with INFRAVISTA and being the world's most sustainable telco.
